Hotel Sales Staff to work from Anywhere.

In today‘s work atmosphere, every communication problem has a solution. At an upscale hotel in Missouri, the communication issue included needing more admin room and they just didn’t have any of the much needed space to accommodate their sales staff. The owner of this hotel had other buildings that he owned near the hotel, but didn’t know how to accomplish this without affecting the efficiency of the sales staff. The owner knew they could depend on MTS to help solve their problem. As our team investigated the situation, we found there wasn’t any cabling run between the hotel and the owners other buildings, and it just wasn’t cost efficient to do so. Instead of running expensive cable, MTS installed a teleworker server at one of the additional buildings which allowed remote employees to have full functionality, just as they would if they were sitting in the office at the main hotel, without the expense of the cable. With this cost efficient solution, both the sales staff and the owner’s issues were solved and both of them were very satisfied.

Courtyard Hotel Upgrades their Security System

A Courtyard Hotel in Missouri looked to MTS to provide a solution for their security needs. Security systems are important to protect the guests and hotel staff. With many recent hotel robberies near this hotel it was important to provide video protection should a criminal enter the hotel. It also provides liability protection should something happen where litigation may occur. MTS will be installing another Cambria Suites on the east coast. MTS has installed several Cambria Suites becoming a leader in Cambria installations. This new upscale hotel brand has specific communications requirements and MTS arose to the challenge with our Cambria Suites package. This Cambria will have a Mitel SX-200 AX controller with Telematrix DECT Cordless and 3300MW5 telephones. A Metropolis call accounting will post all of the admin and guest calls for accurate billing to the PMS. MTS realizes hoteliers have many choices for their communication needs. Holiday Inn Louisiana Upgrades their phones

To create a fresh look in their guestrooms a Holiday Inn in Louisiana decided it was time to upgrade their telephones. They wanted to provide a speakerphone to their guest with a fresh new style. Over time their previous telephones became old with thousands of guests using them over several years. MTS worked with the Holiday Inn to choose the phone that worked best for them. They chose a Scitec Aegis 5 S telephone to provide the look they desired at a competitive price point. In July American Dynamics released a new DVR with more features and greater storage time. Depending on the size of the hard drive this new TVR can easily provide 30 days of storage. MTS Signs Up a Historical Hotel in Mississippi

This historical hotel will have the latest Mitel SX-200 ICP MX Controller. The development group decided MTS was a natural choice for this project due to the success of their previous Hotel Indigo. MTS has partnered with this development group to enhance their communications and help with their new renovation.

Upscale Boutique Hotel Goes All IP

MTS, a Mitel Hospitality Specialist partner signed a new boutique hotel near Kansas City. This hotel will have a fully converged voice and data network with IP guestroom telephones.


This new hotel will open with a Mitel 3300 MXe PBX, Mitel 5500 IP console with their option for a 5340 console when available, 5340, 5324, & 5312 phones for administrative staff. The Mitel 3300 embedded voicemail will provide their voice messaging needs. Their calls will be posted to the property management system via a Metropolis Call Accounting System. Two voice PRI’s from AT&T will provide the dial tone to the property. They will also have condos which will be setup via a separate billing table for long term residents.


Telematrix 3302IP-MWD5 telephones will go in every room along with 3300TRM IP phones for common areas. This hotel will serve as the central answer point for two hotels all managed through a Mitel 6100 contact center management software (prairieFyre) for inbound calls and reservations.
